Free Quilt of the Moment Blustery Day Judy has been playing around with stars, and now you can, too! This free Quilt of the Moment is a chance for you to expand your rotary cutting repertoire. The quilt has only 4 different patches, but 3 of them are not typically found in rotary-cut quilts. The cutting is easier than you think, though, and the sewing is a breeze. (That's a "Blustery Day" joke!) Like the BOMs, this pattern won't be archived.
The pattern is presented in 4 different sizes. You'll need to print out the Main Blustery Day pdf file and then the pdf file for the size quilt you wish to make. If you do not have Adobe Reader for viewing pdf files, please visit Adobe and download the latest version. Blustery Day Main - This file includes piecing instructions, pressing diagrams, full-size templates, and rotary cutting instructions for all 4 shapes. Note: When you print this file, change Page Scaling to "None." The pages MUST print at 100% to be accurate. Also, on the Page Setup menu you may have to adjust to "No Margins." Blustery Day Throw/Wall Quilt - This file contains patch cutting requirements, a colored quilt illustration, and yardage for a Throw/Wall quilt. Blustery Day Twin Quilt - This file contains patch cutting requirements, a colored quilt illustration, and yardage for a Twin quilt. Blustery Day Queen Quilt - This file contains patch cutting requirements, a colored quilt illustration, and yardage for a Queen quilt. Blustery Day King Quilt - This file contains patch cutting requirements, a colored quilt illustration, and yardage for a King quilt.
