I call this "Stargazer Lily." It's based on Judy Martin's "Colorado Log Cabin" from her book, Scrap Quilts. I like the "controlled" scrap look. I like hundreds of fabrics in each quilt and a look of an intricate mosaic which motivates a viewer to keep looking at all the different color shades, fabrics, angles, design elements, and nuances.
