My nephew married a beautiful young lady last week. I made them my variation of Monet's Double Wedding Ring, modified with a nine-patch intersecting block to help form the rings. I enjoy quilting again since recuperating and feel it is a blessing in my life. Eric and Bria requested a green and white quilt. His middle name is Patrick since he was born on St. Patrick's Day so I found a multi-colored fabric with three-leaf clovers and a white print. I'm pleased with the way it turned out and they absolutely love it. I was thrilled with how quickly it went together.

I admit, I strip pieced, but I love your patterns and encouragement for us quilters to adapt from your own designs. I'm still planning on creating another Fanfare for the Heroes. My doctor friend in Vermont absolutely loves his! I'm also trying to wrap my mind around how to put together your Blustery Day Quilt of the Moment with multiple fabrics instead of a two color theme.

Thanks for being so inspiring, Judy.
