Judy's Colorado Trip - 2009
We went to Colorado for spring break in order to visit family and do a lecture at Harriet's Treadle Arts in Wheat Ridge. While we were there, we visited a couple of National Parks.

We're standing on a bridge over a stream at the Alluvial Fan in Rocky Mountain National Park. Will is now the tallest member of the family.

Here, we're climbing down the rocks that you see in the background of the first picture. Kate is even cautious on stairs, but she wasn't going to be denied on this day.

Two native Coloradans getting back to their roots.

It was in the sixties in Denver that day, but we had to hike through several feet of snow on the way up to Bear Lake.

Did I say two National Parks? I meant one National Park and one National League park. The baseball season hadn't yet started, but we were like moths drawn to a flame.
